Twinsmith.io keeps its own visit log, in-house. When a page is served we record the page path, the referring site's hostname, a general device class (desktop, mobile or crawler) and an anonymised visitor hash that changes every day. Raw IP addresses are not stored. A single first-party cookie (sid) distinguishes return visits; clicks on a small number of marked buttons are also counted.
There are no third-party analytics, advertising pixels, social-media embeds or tracking scripts of any kind. Nothing about your visit is sold, shared or combined with outside data. The log exists for one purpose: to understand which parts of the practice draw interest.
Live twins linked from this site (on twinsmith.io subdomains) are access-managed evaluation environments and may keep their own operational logs for the duration of an evaluation.
